We offer acting lessons for ages 5 and up, in a private setting where students can work on monologues for auditions, lines for
a play or musical, improvisation activities and more! Add 15-minute acting lessons on to an already existing private lessons of at least 30-minutes in length (such as a 30-minute voice lesson), or register for acting lessons as a separate lesson. Students of all age can have fun with dramatic activities, whether it's just for fun or to prepare for an audition.

We offer lessons for most of the brass instruments. Due to the development of the embouchure muscles (the muscles around the mouth), most students do not begin brass instruments until the late elementary or early middle school grades. Students with breathing difficulty may struggle with brass instruments. Brass instruments can be played in marching band, orchestra, small ensembles, and as solo instruments, and are used frequently in light rock, jazz and blues styles. We offer guitar lessons for ages 5 and up. Due to the development of the tendons in the hand, some students cannot push down on 
the fret board hard enough at a young age. If your young child is developing at an average pace without motor delays, he or she should be fine to start guitar lessons around the age of 5. Guitar can be played in bands (rock, jazz, etc.), as a solo instrument and even as a classical instrument. Guitars are used in a variety of styles including rock, jazz, bluegrass, country and classical. We offer piano and keyboard lessons for ages 3 and up. The best way to learn to play the piano is with an acoustic piano. However, we will provide lessons on a keyboard if that is all that is available. Our studios are equipped with acoustic pianos, so whenever possible we encourage lessons at our studios. Keyboards, even if they are touch tone sensitive, do not have the same feel of a "real" piano, and some pianos lack the capability to play loud and soft with the fingers, legatos and staccatos, and the
other nuances that can make playing the piano so much fun. We offer Suzuki instruction, the traditional methods, and all styles from classical to gospel. Piano is an instrument that anyone can learn to play. You can learn more about the piano on Wikipedia!

Percussion Instrument & Drum Lessons
We offer percussion lessons for ages 5 and up. There is more to percussion lessons than just the drum set! There are some percussion instruments that are keyed and actually have a tone, such as a xylophone or a vibraphone. Even the timpani has tonality. There are other percussion instruments that are rhythmic, such as the snare or kick drum. Young students can get started with a variety of percussion instruments, including 3-piece drum sets. String Instrument Lessons
We offer violin lessons for ages 3 and up, and viola, cello, string bass and harp lessons for approximately ages 7 and up. 
String instruments are more meticulous and take patience and focus to learn. If your young child is not able to focus well and wants immediate results, string instruments will be frustrating and you should consider starting him or her with piano lessons first. We provide Suzuki instruction, the traditional method, and also lessons in fiddle and Irish music. Also, the violin is written on the treble clef, and the cello and string bass are written on the bass clef. However, the viola is written on the alto clef. We offer voice and singing lessons for ages 5 and up. With elementary age students, we refer to these as "singing lessons," where we work on matching pitch, the fundamentals of music and reading, stage presence, and age-appropriate songs. Voice lessons may be 15-minutes in length if they are added on to an existing 30-minute lesson of another instrument (such as piano). Otherwise, voice lessons at this age should be 30-minutes in length.
Middle and high school students and adults work on more advanced concepts in voice lessons, including breathing, vibrato, tone, range, and more. We will frequently use one classical piece or book to teach concepts, and then the other music is in the style that interests the student. We recommend doing at least a 45-minute voice lesson, and 60-minutes when possible. By the time warm-ups are completed, a 30-minute lesson for an older student is frequently too short. Woodwind Instrument Lessons
We offer woodwind instrument lessons for approximately ages 8 and up. Like brass instruments, the muscles around the mouth must be developed enough to hold an embouchure, and usually students in the late elementary or early middle school ages are ready for woodwind instruments. There are reed, double reed and non-reed woodwind instruments, and these instruments are used in a variety of styles including folk, light rock, jazz, blues and classical. Woodwinds are played in most marching bands, with some exceptions such as The Ohio State University's Marching Band that only allows brass instruments.
