Performance Classes, Recitals, Concerts, Competitions, Adjudications & Other Events
We encourage all of our students to Share Your Music! We offer a variety of options throughout the year to keep students interested, motivated and having fun. We have an opportunity nearly every month throughout the year, and sometimes several opportunities in the same month. All of these are optional - nothing is required. And, since the company organizes all of these events, you know that they will be consistent and well-organized. Our teachers works with our students to prepare them!
Performance Classes
These are held frequently and offer opportunities for students to learn how to perform! Even for the hobbyist, learning to have poise and confidence in front of others is very important not only for the music world, but in business and life in general. This is a valuable opportunity that we provide for free. You may view the calendar of events to find the next class in your area.
Beginners Recital
Every fall and spring, we hold one recital that is just for beginners in a small, non-intimidating venue. Beginners do not have to participate in this recital, but it gives an opportunity for them to perform in a more relaxed atmosphere.
Fall Recital Series
Every fall, we offer a few different options of performance venues such as nursing homes, community events, holiday performances, and other opportunities.
Spring Recital
Our spring recitals are formal events held in a beautiful recital hall with a great stage and a grand piano, giving the opportunity for each student to shine.
Carnegie Hall Achievement Program
The Achievement Program recognizes student achievement through local, state and national Certificates of Excellence and awards ceremonies. There are thorough examinations held a few times annually where students can perform and demonstrate their knowledge. Through the Royal Conservatory, this is an internationally recognized program.
Music Teachers National Association
Through the MTNA, we offer many opportunities where students can perform for a judge and receive comments, participate in a competition, earn scholarships, or just have fun.
Piano Guild
The Piano Guild is a wonderful chance for students to work toward a goal and receive feedback from another teacher. Each spring, hundreds of thousands of students across the country participate in the Piano Guild Auditions. Students memorize between 1-20 pieces, or even play with the music if necessary, and another teacher acts as a judge to provide feedback. As students perform over the years, they can earn additional awards and recognition.
Community Events
We participate in many community events and festivals where our students have the opportunity to perform. These include open houses, community festivals, parades, chamber of commerce activities, expos and much more.
